“I think kids are a blessing,” Akon told NyDailyNews on Wednesday . “[To set the record straight], I never ran away from my responsibilities and I never plan to. Everything I am doing now is for [my other five kids] anyway, so the more kids I can have, the better. I just love them.” With five kids in tow, and two more kids under the age of six months, looks like singer Akon is well on his way to fulfilling his dreams of having a big family.

The singer is a father again for the sixth time thanks to a young lady named Susan Owori, who he met while on tour in Uganda last year. As for his baby with Susan, Akon said, “It’s a boy and he’s handsome as hell.”

As for his possible seventh child with Sara Coleman, Akon did not comment.
